July 14th: We made first contact with gainfully employed individual in Central Florida whose background aligns with our Engineering practice – individual had been mentioned several times as a high performer – we contacted him “cold”.
July 19th : We fully vetted the Engineer and prepared them for discrete presentation to 13 employers whose product lines and manufacturing environment aligned with candidate’s skill set.
July 24th – August 8th: Interview / vetting / due diligence conducted by 3 employers who felt there was a match against their near-term needs.
August 11: Offer and acceptance – offer is a 13% increase in total compensation in addition to residing in a lower cost of living region + moved into Sr. function with new employer
August 28: Start date!
